why can't you just tell use what components you are going to buy instead of linking it all of them. I am too lazy to click on all those links.

what is the point in having a 200 gig hard drive? no seriously unless your a huge video editing nut or very big in image editing you dont need a 200 gig hard drive. Of course its your money but im just trying to save you some. I have a 40 gig and that is plenty and i have over 9 huge games on my computer.

i would think that a 120gb hard drive would be big enough for gaming. I have an 80 gig in my gaming machine. I am also thinking about getting a 120 gb hard drive only because i do video editing

If you have decent speakers, invest on a good sound card.

oh yeah that rig sounds cool... I am using my intergrated sound. Sounds good if you have the nforce 2 chipset your onboard audio is pretty decent. I have no complaints about it. I just need to get longer headphones because the ones I got are too short!! have to sit way to close to the puter to listen..

true that, i was running my 400 watt pioneer receiver (100x1, 100x2, 50x2) , and RCA satellites: 3" mid 1/2" tweet, center: dual 4" 1/2" tweet off my mobos AC97 sound, it was like night and day when i got my Audigy 2

when i have the money i'm gonna get a set of the Creative MegaWorks THX 6.1 speakers

i also have a set of blown klipsch quintets in my clostet
and a blown 200 watt pioneer 12" sub
i drive my speakers hard :D
and a set of $600 bookshelf speakers i got at radio shack, had 7" poly woofers, and a 3"x3.5" mono pole 180 degree tweeter, i blew them too
lets see what else have i blown
i blew some 6x9's in my dads moterhome, sony head unit was to much for thoes wimpy ford paper speakers

Looks like a good gaming machine to me. The only thing I would do is get a better sound card. But besides that, it's great. I wish I had it.

I didnt put a burner in my system.. it is stricly for gaming. I have a puter w/ a burner.. less stuff in my systray.. the less tsr'z the better. just games.. OH yeah i got me another hard drive.. lol no more 10 gig hd.. installing/unstalling games.. I got me a cheap seagate 20 gig! still booting to the 10 gig.

right now it looks like the Nvidia card is the way to go.. I bet they held out w/ the release of the 5900 because of this.. seems they only release the 5200, -5800 to compete w/ the new ati cards.

Well when doom 3 does come out.. I am betting all high end cards will topple.. in price that is.. like the 9700 unless.. the do some sort of driver update or something.
