I was wondering how many people use Linux as a primary gaiming platform(native or WineX).

i don't use linux on my gaming machine just becuase you can't just walk down to the local game store and buy linux games.

How would you play Direct X games on linux.
IF the gaming industry would conform to a standard format for all games I migh think about using linux 8)

My linux (redhat 8.0) is mainly my server and ftp stuff. Don't really use it unless i'm bored.
