does anyone play these games? Any comments?
I'm playing them to get good at them and notice that I'm actually getting into shape!
just in case you don't know what these games are, these games are designed to use a pad in which to press buttons with your feet in steps to create a sort of "dancing" simulation.

if you have a computer that you can hook up to a tv then by all means get pump it up but if you have a PS2 then get DDR max if you don't have a PS2 and still want a console version... you can pick up a PS1 for $50, DDR for $30, dance pad $20 and for $100 have a completely new DDR game... (prices are for a new console, game, and pad. Used stuff is cheaper)

Ok, what is the big difference between ddr and pump it up.. your saying pump it up is better, but.. do any of these have the ability to put your own music into it.. I mean sometimes the music you have to listen to is cruddy.. some bad ass hip hop would be cool..

the point of the games are to bring the over sees techno, dance, rock, r&b and whatever else... plus there could be a big copyright thing if they did that... Pump it Up does however include some american songs like
"Bye Bye, Bye", "oops i did it again" and "i need to know" right not the main thing about these games is mostly for the person that likes these kind of songs... besides... if they gave the option of you putting any song you want on there and making your own then who would buy another one of their games? every dance dance game that has come out is just new songs, the interface and game play remain the same. business my friend thats just how it goes. Now in DDR max they do give the option of making your own dance routine for a perticular song on the game.

I say let it come out with the Xbox and Xbox Live compatable and then they can start putting Muiltiplayer/Download Content and save it in your hard drive. simple as that. :)

DDR sould stick with playstation because thats what they have done with all their mixes... i think that Pump It Up should come out on Xbox because number 1 its already compatible with PC and 2 I don't want to buy an Xbox, dance pad and game for $300 just to play the newest DDR game!
