I just go a Belkin FM transmiter (modle F8V3080) to use with my RCA Lyra, and was wonderif any one had an sugestions on thing to do or place to look to fin out how to boost the signal strength. I know with products such as the iTrip , it was as siple as pulling of a pice of adhesive strip and allowing the antena to move and be open and unrestricted.

I have one too that I use with my Dell DJ. I don't know what to tell you. I use it in the car and sit it in the change tray which is like directly under the radio. That works pretty well.

Modding the iTrip does hardly anything, not worth voiding your warranty and having a piece of metal sticking out.
