there are websites that sell them you have to get one that will work with your ps2 though different version use different drives

heh... i was fixin an old ps2 not too long ago and i got it to run the the startup OS but I put in a game or cd...it flased reading for like 1.5 sec before it quit on me. Then again I tried fixin it to see if i could get the ps2 dvd-rom drive to work and I tried it again and the OS just froze right up on me. It sorta ticked me off. But, yet again I have fixed 3 and this is the only one that has died on me. Any idea on where to find thoes parts? like a site recomendation?
