See pics.
None. I hate screensavers. They just take too long to get out of (some).

about .5 seconds
Like I said. Some. Some take a few seconds which annoys me.

I use serene screen, it's a killer aquarium that is totally realistic looking, check it out (http://www.serenescreen.com/) it's shareware, and it's hard to justify paying $19.95 for a screen saver, but you could always just leave it in demo mode like me :)

I dont use screensavers.... I usually just turn off the screen....It takes longer.... when I am not in my room I dont need the monitor using power. It would be a nice thing to look at if I did anything in my room besides use my computer :D

Set to NONE. Just let the monitor turn itself off after a little while. Then I don't have screensaver stealing cpu cycles from F@H.

I found an even better Matrix screensaver. Go to www.uselesscreations.com . It's a 3D screensaver, so the falling code also comes at you, and it's totally customizable. I love it.

Screensavers and power management sux. I don't use either one of those features in windows. This is formed by problems i have encountered while i am working on other peoples computers. I have seen quite a few computers that would lock up or start acting funny after they came out of power management.

I just use a giant clock screensaver that came with my leadtek geforce 4 ti4200. Its cool. It makes for a nightlight when its dark. I usually just turn my monitor off, cause most of the monitors i use are kind of older. So i dont want an image of my linux or windows desktops permanently burnt into my monitor. I do know that new monitors dont have this problem anymore though

what???!! didn't you know that if you don't use a screensaver, you could eternally burn an image into your monitor!!! j/k
welcome to the 21st century.... that went out a while ago no need for screensavers now..... of course i'd like to burn an image in a few peoples computers. N/K

I think the only thing that you really have to worry about burn in is with a plasma screen but monitors are ok now.

I always turn them off but after others on the previous posts really liked the matrix screensaver from www.uselesscreations.com.I downloaded it and it wanted to install 3rd party software from newnet.com.This stuff is most likely spyware I guess and after going through all the BS removing from a friends machine im kind of skiddish of 3rd party software thats a prerequsite for installing some freeware.

I don't normally use a screensaver, but when I do.. I use Firestorm. It's pretty cool. It makes your desktop look like it's on fire [with sound] and melts your desktop 'n stuff. Very nice. Good family fun.

I use the Lament Box screen saver.
It's the box from the hellraiser series. It spins through your screen.
I just turn off my monitors when I'm done using the computer. Its called Old Skool.

Just the blank screen one, or use powersaver to make it inactive, never do both though...so, now I just turn it off and on with teh power button =P
