What do you guys think I should do? I'm looking for all out best cooling here-- Should I put together something using components on Dtek or should I just spend the extra cash and get a Koolance case??
Thanx,
Alex

Koolance uses very poor hose clamps, and i would not trust it in my system.

you could always replace the clamps or double up over the stock ones

Well I personally safety wire all my hoses rather than using clamps.
I use aircraft stainless .032" safety wire.

You won't go wrong with Dtek blocks and Danny will be having some new radiators within a week that will perform as good as any heatercore.
As for the hose clamps... I use Zip ties... I use a couple instead of a hose clamp and have no problems at all...
can I go with neither?? both of those kits aren't going to help you very much over air cooling.. I'd go with a kit from dangerden , or sysfx.. www.sysfx.net or www.dangerden.com

D-tek blocks have proven to be better than dangerden blocks..
D-tek are not like koolance mass produced crap... D-tek is an excellent company with excellent products... Give them a try !

I don't see why everyone thinks koolance is like kiddie water cooling...
30C on my Barton 2500+ overclocked to 2300Mhz is definitely WAY beter than air and I don't see it as poor for a water cooler at all...
I also like the radiator because it is pretty big... I have 5 fans blowing on it.

Well, I have used both Koolance and Dtek stuff (outside of the waterblock, I used a Swiftech) and the temps are really close to the same. The Koolance is A LOT easier to set up and I think is a little quieter. The only downside I see to using the koolance is it doesn't seem to drop the temps back to idle as quickly as a high flowing kit and the boxes weigh a ton.. Horrible if you go to LAN parties.
