This is a case similar to what i started with:

The stock case just had an 80mm front fan. Not enough for me! I started by cutting a 4.5" or so hole in the bezel for the duct (not yet knowing what i was going to be using for said duct. I then found that a 4" PVC union was the perfect size for a 120mm fan. Cut it to length and proceeded to epoxy it in the bezel (i held it temporally held in from the front with hot glue but some pics got lost via a CF card malfunction):

the duct all epoxied in getting readt to trim the front to shape:

Port roughed to shape:

As you can see the case had no rear fan as stock ... I'll fix that :)

You can see in the next two pics that i fixed it with 1/2" plywood, epoxy, fiberglass, and a bit of bondo:

added a 120mm fan where there was a 80mm stock:

http://www.yoshi.us/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=322&stc=1

Next was switch placement. I cut a big hole where the case badge and stock buttons were, made a form to hold the bondo to shape and packed it in there:

And carefully cut the square holes for the buttons (they came from 1070's video poker machine):
Back side : http://www.yoshi.us/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=324&stc=1
and front side : http://www.yoshi.us/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=325&stc=1
then epoxy the switch box bracket: http://www.yoshi.us/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=326&stc=1

That looks real nice. How long you been working with bondo? Is bondo easier to work with on a placitic case or steel? Nice paint job too. Nice and shiny.
