wow...I really love this mod.

I rescently custom built an acrylic case and thought it would be really sweet to use this mod; we'll, it woked out, but i ended up ruining two drives untill i finally got it right on the third try. lol

Looks cool but i would be scared lol because the make these things in a "clean" room, I had friends that worked for a company "Hutchinsen Technology" who made just parts of the HD actually I think they made the Heads, and the arms. They had to look like "Dancing Intel" men. lol But if it works hey thats cool! I would like to see this w/ some cool diodes or neon if you could get it to fit...

i'd do this if i were richer and could afford new hard drives after i screw the old ones up.

as for the whole clean room thing, one version i read of this said to go into the bathroom, turn on the shower and steam up the room, then after a couple minutes, go in and take apart your drive and seal it in something. i have absolutely no idea how well this would work, but who knows! i'm still not brave enough, though ; )
