this is my work log of my pc case i got for free from work.. i work at Alancomputech.com some of you dell and gateway and compaq/HP nuts might like to visit our site cause we carry alot of parts for them.. but anyways... we never save the cases.. we take the parts and scrap the case.. so when i see a case i like i am able to take it. for free... so when i seen this unique gateway case with a great deal of modding potential i snagged it. i was looking into puting a amd 64 in it but wasnt willing to pay major money to do so.. so i used my daily used system minus the motherboard for the hardware. its a PC chips motherboard (K7 m825g) with an AMD athlon XP 2800+ with 512mb pc 2700 ram. 500W ultra Xconnect power supply. Cd burner and DVD player combo drive. 130 gb maxtor hard drive and a 30 gb western digital regular IDE not SATA. Nexis 3 fan contoller with cold cathode control nob. coolmaster muskateer 3 gauge control center. thermaltake ram animated lights and ram heatsink. blue cold cathode fan (front) modded I/O plate. changed Front power light to blue. and mounted switchs for the cold cathode and the ram lights on the left hand side next to the 3.5 bays. i coveredthe exposed wires with the blue sheathing. and am planning on repainting the case with the same scheme it came with. but with maybe a little darker grey/silver. hope you all like here are the pics..
