Hmmmm, what can we put in this forum? How about stuff like Police Scanners and GPS units... I have a Police scanner from rat shack i got for $200. Its a PRO-95 and holds 1000 different channels. I like it its great i take it on trips and i also listen to the HAM radio guys too. Its kool, so what "other gear" do yall have?

I have an old radioactivity meter thingy from like the 70's its hardcore gangsta fun stuff man. i took it camping with me near a nuclear power plant and we found out the river that runs by it had a higher reading than nethin else around

You should just walk around town with the thing. You'd be surprised where waste gets left or dumped.

I was on an exercise the Civil Air Patrol held when I was in high school. I got stationed at the door, scanning people with a geiger counter. The "radioactive" ore samples they snuck in would barely make it click more than background radiation, but a radium-dial wristwatch would peg the meter at the lowest setting. LOL
The river may have had a higher reading because they have naturally occuring Krypton gas disolved in them, but maybe not.:eek:
