Video Data Projector question

I have just aquired an older video projector from my school's surplus store. It is an older projector, the model is an Infocus litepro 550. I am, however, having a problem with it. For some reason the RCA and S video inputs are not working. When I have the RCA or S video plugged in from my DVD to the projector there is no signal, i.e. there is no picture. I of course have made sure I am not making any of the rookie mistakes, like making sure the video inputs are enabled in the menu and also making sure I have the correct source displayed, etc. Anyone have any ideas?? Maybe there is a short or something is broken?? Thanks for the help!

short maybe?? any help with this ??? is their an option for Yprb for just rca inputs?? did you make sure that the dvd player was set as out to tv ?

Everything is set up right DVD player works, is set to out, everything. We just make sure everything is set up and working correctly on the TV and than just unplug from the TV and plug into the projector. Just an interseting case. One side note to mention is that the RGB in from the computer works.
