Ok, well they run off 12v power supply so all you need to do is find the 12v wire from your power supply and run it off there, or any 12v power supply for that matter...

if you are going to be buying all this "wall-o-subs" crap that he has no use for, you should just buy home theater stuff...much easier...

im saying add subs to the home theater stack them up or something...i hope he knows there is alot more that goes into a system then just plugging subs in...

I agree with TheModGod. It will be cheaper, easier, and more efficient to use some home theater designed subs rather than trying to pull off the wall o sub thing. Couple reasons why.
1. Impedence of the car subs would require multiple amps. Most amps are only stable to a 2 ohm load unless you use high end competition level amps
2. The amount of power that would be needed to drive a wall would cause him to pop circuit breakers like crazy.
I would recommend a Definitive Technology Supercube Reference or a M&K MX Series Sub. It will be cheaper in the long run and easier to hook up

It'd look awesome though.

But yeah, unless you have massive amounts of power flowing into your house *points to self* It's be hard to do, plus your bills would go way up. And unless you are in the middle of no where *points at self again* you would bother the nieghbors.

Like they have already said, It does require more than just plugging it in. There is a ton of planning that would have to go into this and money also. It's nt a hobby project unless you have a large budget

I've hooked up a car amp in my house before, I used a 450W PSU from a server. I just used my home sterio's Subwoofer output to the amp, and from the amp to my sub, It works good, just hard to get the volume right, without annoying the neighbours, or my parents.
