I'm about to install case handles on the top of my case, and i was wondering how i should go about drilling the holes. I would think a regular drill would slip and I would mess something up.

Of course use a bit for metal, I'd put a piece of wood under where the hole will be drilled to prevent a dent from pressure and run the bit in reverse first to make a small dimple, this will prevent your bit from "wandering". At least that's how I'd do it.

good suggestion, but I'd sandwich the case between 2 pieces of wood to keep if from wandering, easier for me that way

not too bad, but you can't beat this price (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=125H1051K)
No, they aren't silver, but my case is black, so they're perfect for me at 1/2 the price.

to drill holes in metal I use an ice pick and a small hammer to make the dimple. don't need to wack the ice pick  just tap it with care so you don't scratch the case.

My friend got his handles through that guy. He'll also paint them whatever color you want and even weld in steel mesh. Heres a photo of my friend's http://www.mnpctech.com/progressHDcold.html
