Weird Sound Coming Out OF The TV?

We just bought a Open Box 32' Magnavox LCD HDTV and when you turn it on there a weird sound like ZZZZZ(like a bee). What is wrong?

well. cant you exchange it for a different one, and see if that one makes the sound?

open box as in it was used right? so there wouldnt be a full warranty if any, id call and see what coverage you have.

they gave us full warrenty so im going to take it back to Circuit City tomorrow.

My tv does the same thing for like 30 seconds of turning it on.

How are you connecting your audio? Sounds like some sort of crossover interference. Try hooking up a second audio device like a dvd or game console and see if you get the same sound.
