OK so I got a (used) Palm pilot keyboard for my M505 by Micro Innovations. Link:
Mini Keyboard (http://www.mic-innovations.com/mi/details.cfm?id=TKB780U) I didnt get the lil stand thing or the thing to hold the palm up on. I want to make a stand and a reflecter for the IR beam for my M505. Can anyone help me think of something to use for it? I wanna make it kool. Any help is appreciated. :D

Nice to see that there are still some people lugging around Palm PDAs.

As for the keyboard, my friend has a keyboard similar to that - I've got a one-piece keyboard that includes the stand and IR built in...

Anyway, to help, you could easily build a stand out of something like a flat piece of plastic or metal, and then use part of a wire coat hanger to help it stand up. You should also add in braces for your PDA so it doesn't slide around everywhere when you try to stand it up...

To reflect the signal, try using a mirror or small piece of reflective metal. This should allow you to use the keyboard the way you should be able to.

As for my keyboard, this is what I have: http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=PA870U

But it was $30 more expensive when I bought it over a year ago...

The 505 keyboards have dropped in price by a lot. Amazing. Why not use something like a document or picture stand?

That's exactly what I'm aiming for. My friend has a similar (at least, it seems to be almost the exact same) keyboard, and I'm stealing the design of his stand to help you.

I have attached a schematic I did up in Paint right before I left for school - that's why it looks like crap - and I managed to get my friend to snap a few pictures of his keyboard stand to help out.

I'll see if I can get my friend's pictures up over lunch (he never put them on my SD card...), but this should do for a start.
