Well I just recently ordered (and should recieve tomorrow) a new PDA (Dell Axim X50v). Does anyone know of any sites to download free applications for PDAs??? Are there any applications that peoples would reccomend I should get???

Thanks

Nice pick...I would probably have stayed Palm OS myself or gone to a lappy, but I hear those Dell Pocket PCs are pretty good...you must have paid a lot though...

Anyway, enough of me; to business.

There are several sites that I know of that would be a great asset to you:
http://www.freewareppc.com - FreewarePPC - There are versions for regular PCs and Palms as well; the interface isn't that great (neither is the selection) but it's got a few things I use regularly.
http://www.snapfiles.com/pocketpc/&e=9707 - SnapFiles Pocket PC
http://www.download.com/Pocket-PC/2001-2009_4-0.html?tag=dir - CNet's Download.com Pocket PC Library
http://www.pocketpcmag.com/_top/bestsites.aspPocketPC Mag[/URL] - Pocket PC Magazine's Best Sites List (Scroll down to the "Downloads" section)

Hopefully these can get you on your way Chrus. Good luck!

Im not a fan of the Palm OS really... Besides... I work for dell... so i got a discount. Its worth about $900, but i paid $549... so that was a big influence in going with Dell over anyone else.

Thanks for those sites... ill go check then out now.
