Presenting...Project: Fanatic from the creator of Project: File Server

I initially built this control interface for a school engineering project. What is unique about this BayBus is that it operates seven devices from only a 3.5" drive. Just plug any 3-pin fan into the back, then control it via the front DPDT (center-off) switches. RPM monitoring is preserved on the first fan, thanks to the added female pigtail leading to the mobo. Using dual-color LEDs from FrozenCPU.com, I'm able to indicate blue for low speed (5VDC).

Accesories can also be controlled , using a homemade 3-4 pin adapter. This way I can control my case lighting. This interface was even able to control the voltage of an 80w Peltier Cooler. This Accessory Control Interface really quiets down Vantec Tornado fans at low speed, yet it still moves significant amounts of air.
