So since i cant seem to fix my lovely ipod i think im just going to break down and get a new one. Im wondering should i get the extended warranty. What do you guys think do you think it is worth it? I think it is because my first ipod broke down with 5 months of me purchasing it, and the replacement broke down in the next 6 or 7.

i think i may just get it was curious of what you all thought.

you should have gotten another year warranty on the replacement from apple, just trade that one in.

i wish i kept better stock of the receipt, becasue i have no idea where it is it may be in my apartment somewhere. I guess I will put off buying a new one for a few days to see if i can find it.

ok one other thing have you any idea about the problem people are having with the ipod not be recognized by windows PC

The thing is I was import the audioslave cd to my harddrive, and itunes wasn’t importing the cd because I had the error correction on so it would only import a few seconds of each song at a time. So I though there was something wrong with itunes. Also my ipod was skipping a few songs every once and a while. So i uninstalled itunes then reinstalled the latest version, and the problem was still happening (this is all before I knew I had the error correction on, found that out later on my own).
So I did a system restore, problem was fixed I updated my ipod to the latest software and something told me to check the options, I then unchecked error correction then one problem was solved then another aroused, my ipod could no longer connect to windows.

Longer story made shorter problem continued to the point now were my ipod now makes my pc crash whenever I have my ipod connected.

A funny thing is I just connected my ipod to my pc at work and it doesn’t make this one crash. But is says that a USB device is malfunctioning. But it actually shows up.

well, i got my new ipod photo today, and i must say that it is wonderful. I have all 400 pics of my girlfriend and i on it and they all look really great. Now i just hope i dont have any problems with it anytime soon. But hey even if i do i got the APP so im good.

I just wish that when i first but the pod i would have gotten a student discount then, i saved 55 bucks.
