I've been looking for a good gaming mouse because my current mouse isn't working to good (sometimes it just decides to stop working). I've been looking at the logitech MX series mice, and I play mainly first person shooters, so i do need a pretty good one. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions.

My friend has the microsoft optical wireless bluetooth mouse, he says it never lags and the it's blue tooth so he could be next door and use it if he wanted to.

I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer wired USB optical mouse. it is great for gaming, because first it has the scroll wheel, but it also has two extra buttons. so when i'm playing games, i can set those extra buttons to do other things, like jumping and crouching so i never have to take my hands off the mouse and arrow keys.

just about any optical mouse will be good for gaming....wireless you may think would be better because u dont have the annoying wire to worry about, but then again you can lose signal during gaming or whatever other problems wireless mice may bring....id go with a Microsoft Intelli Optical Mouse. :D

MX700...non-better. although if you want the same and save a few$$, get the MX500.

Thanx for the ideas. I went to staples 2day and got the MX500 because it was on sale. It works really great.
