well, I have two 80mm fans on my cpu, the first is the one that the hsf came with, a "smart" fan (it was dumber thatn any others) that I took the heat sensor off of so it just runs at full tilt now, and it blows air away from the cpu now (that's right, it's backwards) the second fan is literaly placed on top of the hsf and blows air down across the fins, before the air gets sucked out by the other fan. the airflow is most easily represented by the arrow on the enter key of most keyboards, down and the out to the left.
