I have a Compaq Presarrio 2800 my video card is an ATI Radeon 7500 and when I use Koppix the video is distorted.. Its like some of the vertical lines are missing i barely can make out whats on the screen..Oh and its not the ISO cause i load it on my desktop and it's fine.....any ideas???

You're booting to the CD drive to run Knoppix on CD, correct?
All I can say is try editing your configuration within Linux (control panel) ... can't download drivers because there's no where to download to (if this is the cd bootable version ur using).

I really can't make out anything once it boots up, so that i can change the settings. Could it be that linux doesn't support my video card?...I also tried to load Mandrake 9.0 on it and got the same thing

Have you tried using the standard SVGA driver?

I use linux a little and have noticed that there are some ATI cards that are not supported and dont have drivers. I would try buying a cheap PCI card and use that or use the monitor plug in on your motherboard. That might help you.
