 Anyone have a solution for kinking of water lines??? When I switched over to 1/2in tubing I keep getting kinks. I have heard of a spring-like cover you can put over rubber tubes to avoid kinking, anyone know where I could get that or do you have any other suggestions???
Thank you,
Alex

well, you could try to put a harder covering on, or just go with a bigger line, but, i guess you could also just tape the line to the sides of the case or what-not, good luck

you can also use braided tubing. It wont be as clear but it will resist kinking more. You can find it at most any hardware store. It is just regular vinyl tubing with a fiber weave in the wall of the tubing giving it more rigidity.

If you're going for cheap, you could wrap it in a few layers of duct to make it stiffer.

One of the best ways to prevent kinks is to use wire wrap on the tubes. You can buy it in all types of color and length. You can get it on any mod site and is the stuff you use to wrap around bundled lengths of wire. With it you can still see the water, and it looks really cool. If you wrap it right, you can even bend it really far.
The other way is to use elbows that you insert the tubs into the elbows. THe wrap is cheaper, but the elbows work really well. I can get you some links if you are interested.
Happy Modding,

tygon tubes....... they dont kink at a 90* angle! it's *expencive* though...... $2.35 a foot...... i use 10 feet of it. :D
yo can pick up some spring from home depot and put it inside the tubing it won't restrict flow and will give good entrance turbulance into your block.. 1/2 tubing will do that btw.. = p --bikr
