laptop painted (first mod)

hey guys..

This is my first atemt at moding anything thing on my computer... so... tell me whatt you think..... I painter a laptop

here is how it happened....

then i had to start taking it apart!!!!!!

then i had to paint... i started with the keyboard!!!!!!!!.... now iafter i paint it i won't be able to see the letters... lol o well i don't need them.

then after painting i had to put it back together......!!!!!!this isthe hard part...

then i found out that i missed a piece....!!! i had to open the darn thing again and then i had to figure out where is went...... it was in the bottom.. had to take evrything! out again!!!

then i had it all put back together...

then i thought i was done... lol oops i turned it on then.... the computer just statred theni was all happy.. then 10 sec later it shut down... nothing came on the screen or anything. lol

the problum was that the screen was messed up!!!!

so i opened it again! and then i tryed evrything!!! there was 2 much presure on a few wires so after i fixed that i got half a screen!!!!!!!!!
then i looked at the pins for the video plug and i saw that 2 were bent... so i straightened those.. ( acidently broke one... didin't ned that one though) and then i turned it on........ and it worked!!!!!!!!!

i formatted that drive (300mb) (old comp as you can see) and then i use
hal91 linux 2.0
to boot off of.. it is a linux os that is just promped and runs off a floppy.

but over all i thnk i id a pripy good job!!!! what do you guys/girls think of my frist mod?????

ya i know it is what is under the hood... but i didn't really want to screw up my new computer (laptop)lol you know...... trying doing it on an old one first :)

What kind of paint did you use?

i used fusion paint... make sure to get the plastic prymer though :P then you can sue the ragular paint :)
