DVD Burners, looking to buy soon!

Last fall Leo mentioned on TSS, there will be new generation of DVD Burners released this spring :shock: ......... With faster speed......and that the current burners will drop in price.

What I want to know is, is this true? And when will they be relesased for sale and when will current crop drop in price......... :roll:

the ones that are currently out would most likely drop in price as soon as newer faster ones came out.

Well, just look at what happened with CD-RW's, by Christmas time you'll probably be seeing DVD+,- RW drives for $200 or lower.

If you have the cash i recommend to get Sony's 'all in wonder', burns all DVD formats except Ram(or Rom whatever) and CD-RW i think CD-R too.

Yup get the sony it works well its what I have and its only $350 I paid more for my cd-rw back in the day.......
