new iMac screen bezel

Anybody remove the clear acryllic surround on the new iMac screen? I'm getting close to getting rid of mine -- it serves no purpose -- but, I wanted to check for any advice. Not sure how it's on there -- glue? sonic weld?

Any advice? Hacksaw? Dremel?
