I have 2 Linksys routers (WRT54G), one of which is connected to the internet at one end of my house. Here I sit at the other end of the house cursing and on the edge of throwing my Laptop out the window because my signal. Is there a way to have my second router connected to router #1 (the one with the internet) wireless so this problem doesn't keep happening??? If so how?

Thanks,
Duffy

that would act as a repeater and would have to be placed so that it gets signal from the first at an adiquite level, if you have any wired access on that side of the house i suggest you turn off DHCP on the 2nd router, change it's LAN IP, connect it via one of its LAN ports to the wired, and connect whatever you stole the wire from up to it. From there mimic the settings from the first router for wireless exactly (channel, key, etc (only expeirienced this with WEP, not WPA, should work with WPA too)) all the settings exactly the same. This way, you'll get a hell of a lot more range, and wireless devices seamlessly transfer from one cell to the other, the same way cell phones do. ive been connected to things like irc when leaving one routers range and the connection doesnt drop. Hope this helps.
