Wireless networking?

Hi, i want to make wireless networking presentation for college includes kind of frequencies,range,access point( specifications + advantages+can we increase range+ what is the effect of the walls on the waves),signals,amplifier,probl... of connecting..etc please?

I believe that jamini.roy900 is asking for specs, advantages of different types of wireless (802.11a,b,g,n, etc), how to boost range, what effect does a wall have on signal strength, and common problems.
