just a quick question

Before my computer used to restart randomly, so i though to check my memory sticks. I have 4 slots on my motherboard and two of them were taken up by my memory sticks. Both are 512mb. So i decided to move the two sticks over to the slots that were not being used. Now I am using my computer with no problems at all and have had no restarts.

Do you guys think that I have two dead slots on the motherboard????

You might have got the same result by taking the RAM out, cleaning the slots and putting them back in the same place but there's a chance one of the slots is faulty. I've previously encountered dead slots when I've refurbished PCs.
