running in dual channel gives me problems ?

Hi everybody.

I recently got 2 sticks of Kingston DDR ram, 1gb a piece. they are identical and original. i have the intel D8645PERL motherboard. it supports dual channel.
When i put the memory in Dual channel configuration, i ran into major problems
such as:

hangs at POST, hangs in BIOS setup, hangs in windows
BSODs and other small problems.

when i put the memory in single channel config, everything is fine.
but then BIOS says " you should use dual channel because its better bla bla"

any settings i could modify for dual channel to fix the dual channel problem ? i would really like to use dual channel.

If you did not buy the RAM as a dual channel kit then odds are they are not 100% identical and will not run in dual channel. If you did buy them as a kit then check the return policy.
