Hey this is my first project I undertook. I'm not sure if it is considered a mod, but hey it is cool. The first thing I did was hook up the controller to the parrallel (it is so old and that is the only thing it can communicate with) and added 2 AA's for enough power. I didn't like the batteries hanging off the back of my PC so I enclosed it all in a box. It looks a lot better and works perfectly. I also added a LED to show when it is connected to the PC. I'm planning on adding a second controller sometime. All the attempts I have done at this have not worked, but I'll let you know.

looks pretty good. ps: I found that pic at: http://www.geocities.com/robbie806/picture.html since Geocities doesn't like picture linking. Any mods planned with a XBox controller? <grin>. hm, I might have just given myself an idea.

Hey, Sorry about the picture. It shows up for me. Anyway I've redone some of my website. Go to http://www.geocities.com/robbie806/nes.html to see some pictures. I haven't planned anything for the X-Box controller, but if I remember correctly I think ScreenSavers did a segment on hooking up a X-Box controller. It hooks up to a USB.

Hm, I missed that one. Will have to look that up. Since it's USB and not serial, I'd imagine they needed to download a driver from somewhere?
