Hi everyone

I have a BIOSTAR P4M80M4 Motherboard.
Everyday, after i turn my PC on, i get this error:

CMOS checksum failed -Defaults loaded
warning! CPU has been Changed or CPU ratio changed fail/
Please re-enter CPU settings in the CMOS setup and remember to save before quit!

now at first i thot the battery needs replacing. i replaced the battery but still same problem. If i go and configure and save everything in BIOS, windows loads and everything works. but this message i get every time i start the computer.

how to fix this? so it doesn't bug me evrytime i turn on teh pc

Did you do any OC'ing?

Check for an updated BIOS and flash it. Or reflash the latest.

The problem resurfaced. I got the exact same error.
Any other ideas?

Already checked it, replaced it twice still same issue. After further reasearch i see that some people say that the memory clock can cause this problem, so i set it at 100MHz, so far seems fine, but still not sure yet.

i would really hate to get a new motherboard just because of that
