i keep seeing these cases that only have one 5inch slot, and room for 1 HD. there sorta rectangular shaped. i was wandering what ppls opinions of these cases are for portability. i was thinking of picking one up and putting a ATI 9700, SB Audigy 5.1/EAX in it. and a 40 gig HD, 512 RAM.

Heat is the big problem with them. If you modded it for better airflow it would be cool. Very portable. While your at it install a nice handle on the top of it.

yup it was for a AMD XP processer and it had small tubes running from the processer to a rad just outside the fan on the case.

see, the problem is, there aren't any LAN partys around here or even in my town, so I don't need a portable case, which is just as well, because the case I have isn't very heavy, and isn't to small, mind you its no mini case, but..

My main problem with LAN parties is not the case, but the monitors. I really should invest in a nice LCD monitor.
