About 18 months ago I got identical computer setups for both me and my wife. I had originally planned a great system for just under $1000 but had to cut my budget AND my wife didn't want "hand-me-downs" anymore. Instead of my gaming rig that I had drooled over for weeks I wound up with two budget Athlon 64 X2 on Gigabyte boards.
A little over a week ago my computer would not recognize the boot sector of any harddrive anymore after a reboot. Five days later my wife rebooted her computer for the first time since my system died and it would not get past a memory count on POST. So now I'm down two desktops and barely getting any time with the netbook that my wife got to help with her online college. Thank goodness I'm getting a good tax refund.
PS - It was the GA-M57SLI-S4 (x2)
