The Hard Way:
Logins

  1. Backup (copy) the file %windir%system32logonui.exe (most likely C:windowssystem32logonui.exe - the logon)
  2. Download the .zip to your computer
  3. Extract logonui.exe to a directory other than %windir%system32 (most likely C:windowssystem32)
  4. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode (hit F8 before the boot screen) or into true DOS (from a boot disk)
  5. Overwrite the file %windir%system32logonui.exe (which should have been backed up) with the extracted exe
  6. Reboot your computer as you normally would
The Easy Way:
Download LoginUIBoot Randomizer, it makes switching logon screen easier.

Mine ain't that special, it's just the default. I like Wineows XP to look like wineows XP, Linux to look like linux, OS X to look Like OS X, OS 9 to look like crappy grey stuff, etc...

I'm exactly the same way. Today I yelled at (not actually) somebody in the office today for using Windows XP and using the Classic style.

Actually, its a close up picture of a piece of ram. I didn't make it, the logon came from Belchfire.net http://www.belchfire.net/modules.php?op=mo...id=266&orderby= (http://www.belchfire.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=XP_Themes&file=index&do=showpic&pid=266&orderby=)

Its called SDram logon screen and can be downloaded at:
http://www.belchfire.net/modules.php?op=mo...ename=SDRam.zip (http://www.belchfire.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=XP_Themes&file=index&do=getit&url=xp_logon_screens/SDRam.zip&filename=SDRam.zip)
