no doood its silver plateing over a solid copper base with an aluminum top
as for flow rate i plan on using an old aquarium pump i have thats been collecting dust since i upgraded to a larger one.
specs on my old pump:
brand: little giant
model: 2MDQ-SC
flow rating: 465 GPH AT 3' of head...max head 12'
type: magnetic-drive
power: 1/15 horsepower
so i dont think i will have any flow problems at all

be careful with the maze 3 if you got the lexan top , it's a fantastic block for cooling , but make sure you test it for a few days running off your system. if you have a peltier hook it up to the block to put a load on it .. the acrylic can break at times and become brittle , also don't add water wetter to your system if you're running that block ..
