Here are some pics of where the project is currently. There are more modifications to come (updating the drive, watercooling, etc...) and I will update those here and in my worklog that can be found HERE (http://www.badgerpackaging.com/heavymetal).

I'll second that, I'd love to see that in action. That was kinda funny though that you had to tie that thing down to Yoshi's car, that's intense. Good work!

A video is on the way. I am still about two weeks out on repairs, and then I will be able to shoot some video.

As for watercooling, I will be installing independent systems for each processor in each of the sidepods. I already have the chrome black ice radiators. I will be using them in combo with a pair of Swiftech MPC600 inline pumps and MCW5000-PX waterblocks. I am going to have a pair of custom stainless tanks made and use 2 of these Mooneyes filler caps (one on each pod):

I like the filler cap idea it reminds me of the fuel cap's on old Chargers and Barracudas. On the aborted attempt of the TSS burnout I saw you had bleached the sidewalk so the tires would melt down during the burnout.Im a retired paint and bodyman and the first thing that ran through my mind was the bleach spotting the candy finishes clear coat. That would be a heart breaker to see any bleach stains anywhere on Project heavy metal.Mabe a solution of water and mild detergent would be less hazardous.

The July 2003 issue of Maxium PC had the old configuration in it. The January 2004 CPU magazine has the powered version in it.
