I will have a window in the side panel and the top panel soon. Some other mods that will be on the computer as soon as school lets up for several days will be putting a window in the top of the CD-RW so that I can see the CD spinning with Blue LEDs in there and a clear cover on the PSU. I am also going to re-sleeve all of the cables in Sleeving from FrozenCPU.com that glows blue. And, once I get the new PSU, I will have a 6" UV CC in the top which is really powerful (used to have it in but there wasnt enough power left in the PSU). Also, this week I should have two rocker switches w/ Blue LEDs that turn on when the switch is on that will be mounted in a 3.5" bay.
Will keep you guys updated with this ongoing modding project!

Very nice...I've always loved the LL cases, they have a very sleek look. Now, I need to take the time to sleeve all of my wires lol. Great job, can't wait to see the finished product!

Thanks.
I have these pictures as well as articles, reviews, and how-to's on my new site (http://www.projectech.net). So check it out and register on the forum. I am going to have more articles and stuff on there soon, as well as more pictures because I just began uploading the pictures off the digital cameras.

It's a logitech =) that's all I know...
I have the same case! You've givin me an idea about a fan bay bus. I was going to get a 5 1/4 one but I see yours is in the 3 1/2 bay... very nice indeed.
I am very partial to the HDDs mounted in the lower bay, but they would not fit for me b/c I wanted to had my 2 drives on seperate IDE cables (mostly for my DVD and CDRW - fast burns) Do you know what the longest an IDE cable can be?

I have seen 36" IDE Cables (rounded) at FrozenCPU.com. And they can be dual cables too.
Now about those blue LED rocker switches. I got them in today but am waiting to get the 3.5" cover w/ switch holes. It's supposed to be in next Monday, so I will have pics than or the next day. I also forgot to mention some mods that I will also be persuing within the near future. These include replacing the green LEDs in the keyboard I have pictured above, with blue ones. And for my Logitech MX500 mouse, I am going to change the LED currently in it (red) to a high intensity blue LED. After these mods and the windows are put in, as well as re-sleeving all of my wires in UV reactive blue sleeving, my case will be finished and I will have to move onto another project.

Love the CC above the keyboard. Thats the only thing I don't like about the logitech black keyboards. You can't read them in the dark AT ALL.

That's the exact reason I put that light there, LOL.

Over this past weekend, I decided to begin cleaning up my computer. Previously, I had the CC inverter box mounted on the inside on the right side of my comp. hidden. But than I had the problem of many bare wires (un-sleeved wires) showing when connection via Power. So I decided that since I won't have anything else other than two rocker switches in the 3rd 3.5" panel on my case in the last bay, I could mount one CC box in there and drill holes to route the wires out and keep them hidden. I used a Dewalt Drill and make the hole and than used a Dremel to smooth the edges so that it wouldn't cut the wires. Here is what it looks like:
http://www.projectech.net/graphics/comp/small/drilled_cage.gif
What you see in that picture is the 3.5" bay cage from my case. The previous holes were covered up my a supporting bracket so I had to make holes just under those. I know it looks a little scratched up, but that is because it was my first time using the dremel and you would never see those scratches unless you removed the cage.
I also just purchased a Vantec Stealth 520 watt PSU from FrozenCPU.com. A cool thing that they do for a little extra is sleeve the wires and change the molex connectors and test the PSU for reliability. I had them sleeve it in Blue UV Reactive Sleeving ($30 for all wires) as well as put Blue Heatshrink and Blue UV Reactive Molex Connectors ($10 for all) and had them do both tests ($10 I think). I really don't mind the cost of this because it will be done professionally and will look awesome. In the near future, I am going to put a clear or Blue UV Reactive PSU cover on this and maybe change the fans to the blue ones pictured in my case. I also ordered molding so I will have a full size window in my left panel and full size window in my top panel. Keep checking this post out for updates with the new PSU and sleeving, new Windows, and Blue LED Rocker Switches.

how did you extend the cold cathode tube all the way to your desk, and for that matter is it possible to extend it 7-10 ft.?

You should try to put the light tubes inside the keyboard that way the light comes out from within the keys..just and idea

no room in a keyboard for a CC in a keyboard, but there is enough room for el wire. I did this awhile back.

Actually, I remeber seeing a mod done a while back, can't remember where though of a ccfl that was taken out of its tube for placement in a smaller location. you can also get them down to 4" so I would think that it is feasible.
