hi, this is the only place to post stuff so here we go...
a while a go i decided that I have a fast pc in a cool case with a geforce4, I also noticed that a lot of games on ps2 are also on pc, and they look just as good, so right now I have my computer hooked up to my reciever and my tv, and I have 4 usb controllers that perfectly represent playstation2 controller, and I have a really small, black and silver usb hub, which I think looks cooler than a multi-tap... so right now when my buddies come over i just hit a button, load up gta3 or tony hawk and play it out on my tv....
now that im done with the intro, here's the situation, I want a simple program for selecting which game I want to play, either by joystick or ir remote control... something so that I dont have to stand up and click on my icons, something so I feel like I own a console...(by the way, the coolest thing about this setup is that unlike a ps2 i dont have to but a new dvd/cd in the drive every time)
anyway, remember on super nintendo with mario all star's (the one that had 4 mario's on one cartridge) when you'd select the games it's have a big logo that's easy to see on the tv, and if you hit left or right a new big logo slides on the screen.... this is exactly what I need...
in conclusion I want a program that runs fullscreen, and shows a very large(like 640x480) image for each game, then i can use my joystick to go through all my game shortcuts and then just hit a button on my joystick to load it...
if anyone has every(which i doubt) heard of a program like this, please please please email me more_bling@anytimenow.com or if someone with good programming knowledge has time to kill and wants to help me out, write this program, if you do I'm sure many people would use it...
