Try opening up the inside of your mouse while it's plugged in and probe it with a multimeter.

So i could hook it up like that...but what about the white wire if its a 3-pin connector or the yellow wire if it's a molex connector?

?????? Molex in a mouse? Use a muilti meter to see what each wire is doing. Its great investment if you dont already have one.

Once again, I'll get one if someone pays for it, but I agree, it is a really good investment, my brothers friend got one to test our 45+power supplies see if they worked.

no, i was talking about the fan inside, i need to solder the wires to the mouse, but if the fan has a molex connector where would i solder the yellow wire?

ahh Molex are the connectors like on a HD or CD-Rom.
The yellow wire on the fan is a speed monitoring wire dont worry about it. Use the red and Black wires. Red + Black -
Make sure your fan is a 5VDC fan, if you use a 12V fan with only 5V it wont work very well if at all.

ahhh ok i got a bit confused then, lol. I assumed since it hooked up to the wires on the PSU that it was also a molex connector.
