So I got this cool Pionex FlexATX case a few years back at a flea market for 15 bucks. It has a killer PSU in it, only rated at 65watts, but it was used as a secondary PSU for my old server and i have stress tested it to run fine at 115w.

So I had a project that needed a teenie case, and I thought hmm.

Basically I had to remove the drive cage by drilling out the pop rivets, then dremeling down the cage an inch or two and riveting it back in. Then I had to dremel out a few mounting holes, and I made a nice little cutout for the SPDIF addon card that came with the Nforce 220 motherboard I was determined to fit into this thing.

Then I realized the hard drive wouldnt fit in its original location in the top right corner so I had to build a hard drive cage into the case top (not pictured unfortunately) so the hdd sits right above the pci slots. Amazingly the psu is able to handle a 7200rpm hard drive, a cdrom, Duron 1.3ghz and an nforce board without any issues.

Actually you can, Jetway sells standalone SFF boards. They are the only manufacturer I know of that does, you should take a look at their site and send them an email.

Combine that with a cooljag 1U cooler or get a good laptop heatpipe cooler and you could probably slip a pretty powerful system into that sparc case.
