I saw the other day on the techtv site, I think, about how to add a custom window into a case, but here's the thing, I cant get to techtv.com atm, so, Yoshi, if you could be so kind as to post the steps, so that I can try it myself.. good thing that if I screw up, I can get a cheap case w/window.. just dont want to spend $50 if I dont have to. And yes, I have a Dremmel tool, I do remember atleast that part.

The Part I will need the most help with, is how to keep the window in the case.

So if I wanted to put in that 5.99 window, what would I need?

Thanks for the help

So if I wanted to put in that 5.99 window, what would I need?
Something to cut the case with and...nothing!

How does the window stay in, is it like glued to the window of the gase or is it two pieces that fit with the case inside the middle?

basically, the cut out for the window on the side panel is about 1/8" bigger and a piece of rubber molding goes in that gap and around the edges to hold it in.

or sometimes you will cut out the hole, put edging around it to make it look nice, and then use double sided sticky tape to hold it down.

The kit comes w/molding that keeps everything together and instructions to tell you what to cut off around it.

Recap:
You need:
1) case
2) Dremel
3) cut off discs -I like the Reinforced ones (prod. #426)
4) window kit
5) masking tape (to mask off panel to prevent small scratches)
6) Pencil (or pen)
7) a free evening

pen works better on masking tape then pencil :D

T mount the plexiglass, I just cut the plexi a little bit big, and use duct tape to mount it.

That’s what’s fun, the work. If you mess-up start over. When you do get it right and it is what you want (other than what some company has made) you will be a lot happier. :D
