I have an ugly beige case that i want to paint black and i was wondering what kind of paint i should use so nothing sticks. I would also like to paint the drives so they match but i'm concerned about the buttons sticking and all that, can anyone lead me in the right direction?

just a high quality automotive paint. I'm taking this old case and i'm gonna mod it just for the fun of it but i'm gonna try to do everything my self, the painting and the windows and whatever comes to mind....it's pretty much a practice thing but if it turns out nice i will probably post it here and maybe use it instead of my pimped out lian-li pc-60 which has pretty much kits for everything on it.

I am thinking about using Brush-On paint instead of spray cause all my spray paint jobs go bad. I did it like 6 times (sanding down and re-priming each time) and the bumps and lines stayed.hmmm..I guess 400 and 600 grit sand paper cant get it all good.

I would like to learn how to airbursh and airbrush some artwork on a case.. The school I work for have a bunch of old cases. there is this one I have been eyeballing that has a "pattern" already on it like an embossed pattern that would act as a guide to cut a hole into.

hehe...I have been thinking! We have this steam cleaner thing where you put water in it and it shoots out steam to clean stuf...well maybe it works the same way with paint! I could steam paint all my cases!

hwy when you sand between spraing use water with sand paper ir removes scraches and stuff... and also use gloss to finich your box ... it shines good and it doesent stick..
