I recently replaced my red led in my logitec optical mouse with a blue 5volt led... So far i can only use it with a white sheet of paper or a bright mousepad, i usualy just let it sit on my desk with no pad or anything. I looked on a modding webpage to see if i did somthing wrong and the person who did the artical used a 3.6 volt led, i was wondering if this would effect it at all. :?:

3.6v is needed cause it gets even brighter at 5v.

:D i recently just changed out the 5 vold and put in a 3.6 vold extra bright led and it works great, i no longer have to use a white mousepad (or peice of paper for my sake lol) so anyone who had this problem i think i found a pretty good fix
