Splinter Cell Demo [Archive]

I'm playing the demo of Splinter Cell. Kind of cool. Anyway, I'm stuck at the beginning. I started at this house, shot a guy, found the computer behind a painting and now I'm supposed to find the "dead drop." I'm not even sure what that is, but I'm sure I have not found it.

Anyone?

did you get the demo from the newest issue of maximum pc cuz that's where i got mine from but i have yet to install the demo due to my lack of free time.

ok let me see if i can remember how to beat it, its actually pretty easy and can be done in under 2 minutes, although i dont have the demo anymore and havent played it in a few weeks, i'll give it my best

first off go down the stairs to the door, then open the door, shoot the guy walking in the hallway, then walk down the hall, turn left, there should be a door on the right, shoot the door twice so the guy inside gets alarmed and sees whats going on, then shoot him when he opens the door, now turn and go down the long darkly lit hallway to the door, go up the stairs, then open the door at the top of the stairs and listen to a guy talk to one of the gaurds, wait till they finish talking then slowly walk into the office on the left shoot the gaurd sitting in the chair, now walk out into the lobby, dont go out the two large main doors as it is unnessesary, face the two main doors and turn left, go in the door way and slowly up the stairs, there will be two guys working on computers or sleeping shoot them, then walk to the back of the room, the last door on the right go in it very slowly you might have to use that door look breaking thing i dont remember, use the thermal vision goggles, you can either creep upto the guy at the computers and grab him or just shoot him in the back, then walk though the curtain, and use the computer, mission over, no special stuff, thats it. you can just walk around and enjoy the very nice graphics after that.

Wait a minute, there is a new SP demo, hmmmm the one I played was 100mb, a new one came out that is 180mb, I gotta check this out....

ok i figured it out, once you get to the gate at the end of the first level, you have to get on the dumpster in the corner by the wall, and do a double jump while pressing left to kick off the wall and grab onto it, then climb over to the other side
