nope....think the game is horrible...its way to overrated and i dont see how people find enjoyment out of it...A real man's game is UT....thats all.

I play both, best of both worlds UT2K3, but my video card doens't work in my other computer so I can't play CS very well. do play UT2K3 single player... Is it in stores?

i play both unreal and counter strike. There is a counter strike mod for unreal call tactical ops if you didn't know that. I like playing counter strike a lot as well as tactical ops and unreal tournament

I like Counter strike but after a while i get annoyed with it. Unreal Tournament is so much better but every Lan party I go to everyone plays CS. Its the same at our local cyber cafe. I dont think i've ever played UT on lan with a lot of people. 3 at most. I went to a LAN party for 16 hours and after 10 hours of CS I was sick of Counter-Strike and I looked around to see what everyone was playing and 38 out 40 some people were playing CS. That makes me hate it even more.

Here's a twist: Have any of you played CS with the Warcraft 3 mod? If not, find a server that has it. It's a neat twist on the gameplay, and I play on those servers occasionally.

absolutely not one thing that you have to download, unlessen if you want to run on your own server, then I have no clue where to get it

As far as playing, just like any other plugin for cs (think adminmod, etc.) where you do nothing and the server takes care of everything else.

The war between UT and CS on the forum seems to be showing up alot. I personally Love CS and I can see why some people hate it. I have played UT a couple times and I think its a little hard and a little easy. I mean you can shoot 3 rockets at the ground near a enemy and kill him. In CS you have to acually shoot at the person to hit an enemy. I strongly Recommend CS and UT very good games and if you want a hell of a time Just get 4 computers put UT on 2 of them and put CS on the other and have a UT/CS Lan Party :).

Its all a matter of opinion.

With CS, you have white smoke blinding your screen....tiny tiny maps, that are easy to die on. If there goal was to try to make realistic, they failed. CS is to complicated, but yet to simple. You should be able to switch guns right away, and pick up guns and be able to just use the scroll button to use them. In UT its simple in that way...but more challenging to frag your enemy around the corner and have precise aim....

And thats my opinion.

I've been playing Desert Combat for about the last 5 months and then I played CS the other day. CS is pretty crappy if you ask me, I deleted it and went back to DC. Much more fun.

Desert Combat is pretty fun, it needs some work yeah, but it is in the Alpha stages, and yeah CS sucks bad

remember its a half life mod and half life is the quake 1(heavily modified) engine. personally i like CS more because it is more "realistic" than UT. Sure UT good but there is no real skill involved and better left for playing/pwning at school :D Im just hoping there will be a CS using the doom 3 engine..... that would be very, very nice

I think if soldier of fortune II (which is an awesome game) was based on either the quake or the cs engine it would beat both of them. SoF2 is like both but more war like, and the maps are more realistic. correct if me if it's really based off one of the two, i just guessed.

well right now cs is all i have and soon i wil get other games proabably soldier or fortune but for now it is CS and the new patch then the new cs is coming out then the new cs so they should be a lot better.
