Any one know a good way to get a scratches out of a CD with home remidies, instead of buying like that SkipDoctor, game doctor, or wipe out??? I read something over at thescreensavers.com about how some ways, like baking soda toothpaste, and car wax, but i dont have any of those, anyone kno another way?

Reason is because my Ghost Recon CD has scatches on it, and it wont install. One of the Tech support guys told me to clean the cd and try again...but that didnt work...and theres quite a few scratches...so if anyone knows any good ways, please share. Thanks

A little trick I learned in photography school, for smallish scratches, just rub your finger down the crease between your nose and your face, you will get some grease on there, it just takes a little bit to fill a small scratch, then just rub it into the scratch, we used this mostly for negatives, but I have found if my playstation2 doesnt like a disk because its scratched then just use a little nose grease and its fine.

Are you serious?

Face Grease? Perhaps you need Stridex?
