I have dual boot system with XP and Mandrake 8.2. I would like to get Mandrake set so that it can be a complete replacement for windows when windows acts up although I have a few driver problems. First one is I have an optical Track ball explorer, which has four buttons and a scroll. I have it working find but I want to be able to program the buttons so I can have it set the way I want. Second one is my modem I have an Intel HaM data fax modem and I can't seem to get it to work, I think it maybe a driver issue although I haven't found a driver for it yet. The last problem I have is I have an ATI Radeon VE with two monitors hooked to it. While the monitors work I would like to be able to be able to extend my desktop like in windows so I can have two different things running on the different monitors.

that "program for application specific" is for microjunk.
ATI... ahh.. my Geforce works.. im not real famil'r with ATI and linux.
you will not get a modem to work.. unless you get an external "hardware modem"

heh. Linux isnt really a multimedia OS. So I dont think you should count on a duel monitor Support.. And yeah. You need an external modem as [GF]Burke said.
