Break an MP3 into multiple MP3's?

I hate 3rd part software. I have a few full albems in MP3. I would like to chop them down into multiple mp3's.

I have seen the windows movie maker... in XP.. and can do it there.. but i cant seem to get them to save individually.

any ideas?

Not sure, but I think the Nero Burning Rom's "wave editor" might be able to do that... cant remember if I ever tried to open a mp3 on it tho..
