lol on my case fans that came with my lian-li pc601, there are two in the front and one on the back...and i can't tell which are blowing air out and which are bringing air in, when i put my hand on both sides they both feel like they are having air blown against them. is there a way to tell what they are doing besides feeling?

usually air blows out on the side of the fan that has the label on it.

if you look on the side of the fan there should be an arrow somewhere that points to the way the air is blown, i have 3 coolermaster 80mm case fans, they all have the arrow on them somewhere

If you wan't to be absouletely sure which way the air is blowing look at the markings on the fan itself. There is an arrow showing the direction of the air. Papst fans usually have the marking on the edge while some fans have the direction on the label stuck on the center of the fan.

Why don't you just take it off and turn the com on and put your palms on both sides like 4 inches away and that be able to tell you. Why you can't tell now is cause the grill on the outside is to tight. I wanna drill mine a little larger for better cooling.

i just look at the blades. often times, especially when working in low light its tough to see the arrow on the side, but the blades will always tell you. you might have to stop and think for a moment if you have never paid much attention to the blade shapes. look at how they will cut into the air
